In a recent press release, GVB Biopharma, a global distributor, developer, and manufacturer, discussed the launch of their new CBT Isolate product (1). As mentioned in the press release, it says, “CBT, also known as Cannabicitran, is a rare cannabinoid that is quickly emerging in the hemp and wellness industries. Like other rare cannabinoids, CBT demonstrates distinct properties and potential benefits for users seeking new functional product formulations.” The CBT Isolate is able to be used in a variety of products such as, edibles, tincture, topicals, and more.
Cannabicitran (CBT) is a cannabinoid that has been shown to have non-intoxicating properties and its benefits are being researched to see how the rare cannabinoid can be used to see how it can be used but has shown similar effects that are found in cannabidiol (CBD) and cannabigerol (CBG) (2,3).
