Event Overview:
Cannabis Science and Technology® will be hosting a new event called the Hemp Science & Technology Virtual Symposium. Brian Smith, the founder, CEO, and Chief Technical Officer of Big Sur Scientific, will serve as the event’s program chair. The two-day symposium will feature talks and panel discussions from hemp scientists, researchers, and industry experts on a wide array of topics including hemp analysis, cultivation, and extraction. Each session will consist of 30 minute talks by a subject matter expert, and a 60 minute free ranging panel discussion featuring our speakers.

Topics will include the importance of in-house testing for hemp businesses, overcoming the challenges 3rd party labs face when testing for heavy metals and pesticides, and solving the inter-lab error problem.
