Cova Pay is new software for cannabis stores designed to address current concerns of business owners.
In a recent press release (1), Cova Software announced the debut of Cova Pay, a new software designed to integrate with Cova Point of Sale (POS) and also remove the need for third party payment contracts by allowing cannabis retailers to process debit and credit cards directly through the POS (1). Cova Pay will use mobile, WiFi and LTE compatible terminals to supplement Cova Software’s tablet-based POS (1).
Cova Software, started in 2016, builds software for cannabis retail businesses in North America, including cannabis point of sale, eCommerce, payments, inventory management, and advanced analytics (1,2).
"As the Canadian cannabis market has matured, retailers have exposed the need for a next-level payment solution that isn't glitchy, failure-prone, or difficult when resolving issues,” said Gary Cohen, CEO of Cova Software (1).
